Yusuf Thullah

is the founder of Trace Thullah, a non-profit organisation dedicated to elevating and advancing the fashion industry in The Gambia. A former entertainer and top Gambian model, Yusuf began his career on the runway, quickly becoming a recognised face in the industry. After retiring from modelling in 2016, he redirected his passion for fashion toward building platforms that celebrate creativity, talent, and excellence.

Through Trace Thullah, Yusuf established the Gambia Fashion Awards, a prestigious annual event that honours designers, models, make-up artists, accessory designers, hair stylists, photographers, fashion brands, and public figures who champion Gambian fashion. His vision is to recognise and celebrate the individuals shaping the future of Gambian style and to create a space where fashion professionals are valued, acknowledged, and inspired.

Committed to nurturing the next generation and strengthening the national fashion ecosystem, Yusuf has vowed to lead Trace Thullah with purpose, creativity, and to dedicate all of his time to the growth of Gambian fashion, together with team Trace Thullah and all stakeholders.
